Patchwork denim red “Chiefs” reversible bucket hat. One side of the hat has interfacing on the backside. Giving the hat lots of structure while being flexible. The exterior of the hat is comprised of my leftover red denim from my previous projects. Creating a colorful array of textures. The gold thread adds some nice color while fusing all of the scrap denim together. The interior is solid black denim with white accent stitching. I am from Kansas City. I wanted to make a project that was inspired by my home town. A great way to do that was by championing the Chiefs football team. I used all the colors of the football team: red, gold, white and black.
